Miele part- where does it go?

Hello chaps

My first post.

I’m a fan of Miele kit, my whole flat is littered with Miele, however of late I’ve been disappointed with their service engineers. Customer service remains top but their engineers are lazy, or perhaps I’ve just been unlucky.

So now I prefer to repair things myself, so far as possible.

I replaced the friction dampeners on my W919 WPS a few months back. Previously Miele had been called twice for some work so it was the first time I’d gone it alone.

I was surprised to find a used plastic part lying on the bottom plate. Why did the engineer replace it, or at the very least remove it? He thought I’d never know so just left it in there.

So I’d like to know where it goes. It has M. T. – Nr. 3658771 on it an looks like some type of bottom plate.

Any ideas?

Looks like a circuit board anti-splash guard has fallen off due to vibration. Needs clipping back on. NOT something you can blame the engineer for. 😉

I knew that response would come back 😉 can you direct me? Where does it clip onto? I found it under the drain pump.
