Noticed a marked change in Miele spare parts prices….downwards!
PCB for W86* range now down to £95, (was upwards of £200 exchange!) and dishwasher circulation pumps now around £130 when before they almost topped £300.
Seems they may be getting the message that their customers would rather keep their old machines going.
Just posting this as a warning to check the real price before assuming the machine is BER as if a customer you have just quoted £300 to rings up Miele and are told its less than half that it wont do your reputation much good.Re: Miele parts

think that is for the complete fan motor and condenser assembly and yes, a bit over the top. Most of the parts are available seperatly. These are a bitch to clean out and its kind of good to know that even a machine costing £1k+ suffers from the same blocked condenser as does the cheapest Servis/Indesit/Candy whatever. despite having extra valves and flushing programmes built in to it. Moral being avoid any washer drier like the plague.

youre spot on, they are a bitch to clean 🙁 got a recon motor £90, dont fancy fitting another though, but customer is happy and she didnt complain about the price 😮

having said all that, never had one fail. If the motor is siezed it is usually only due to fluff build up on and around the fan.
