Miele power drawer not emptying

Hi,
I have a Miele WDD 035 8kg Series and the powder drawer doesn’t empty. Water is coming out, but obviously some of the popes are blocked.

I can remove the top of the drawer pretty easily, whats the best way to clean it as it’s not possible to get inside? I guess it can be soaked to remove, gunk or residue inside? What’s the best thing, as cleaning with brushes hasn’t worked.

I always find boiled water and some bicarb soda works wonders for the draw and any channels but if its for the machines actual supply pipes i would see what dave and others say as i couldn’t trust any strong chemicals
