Hi guy’s,heres’s a good one,with the machine turned on and door shut,and in the finished position the start button flashes twice ,then off then flashes twice etc,when prog selected the 1200 spin light comes on and m/c sequences as follows,main wash,rinses,drain ,check inlet,check drain,excessive powder,then nothing,then it repeats sequence untill turned off,i have checked all meterable components and all seem to be ok,not able to check part at rear of soap drawer any ideas!!

Sorry my laptop is in for repair at the minute & i’ve all my technical info on there.
Sounds as if the control knob could be either broken or out of position.
I don’t know if this machine has a demonsration mode on it?
Some of the newer ones go through that sequence of flashing through all the options but only if set in demo mode as in a showroom.
You might wanna give Miele Tech guys a bell, they’re quite well informed & helpful.

Just chatted to another Miele engineer & he says it sounds like a ribbon cable fault, check the ribbons on control board. Edge connections on board may need dab of solder with iron, thats his advice.

update Seamy mate it was stuck in demo mode local miele guy had to do it for me, 😳 it’s my own m/c
