Miele Premier Novo: drum doesn’t spin

Hello all,

Our Miele Premier Novo has a fault where the machine starts the wash cycle, but when the drum is due to start the “Rinses” light flashes, and shortly after the water is drained. From some googling I’ve worked out it probably relates to the motor and could be carbon brushes (worth repairing) or a new motor (bin it).

I’ve checked out http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ge&pid=156 which gives instructions on replacing the carbon brushes, but I can’t see them on my machine! Here’s a replacement motor on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? … 0343708115
