One for Seamy

This machine does pump out but before it has finished draining the drain neon flashes ,m/c carrys on draining then after 20 seconds the light is out. I have checked for obstructions but none.Is this a geniune fault???

Blocked pressure bell on the tub front’s a good bet – check heaters while you’re at it.

The Little Giant,

Depending on the model, if it has a dump valve it allows 28 sec’ before giving thr drain fault code (going below level 1) or 40 sec’ if it has a drain pump, it continues for 2m20sec for dump valve or 3m20sec for drain pump before going to “end” position.
Fault indication for this machine is if drain l.e.d flashes quickly 1/2 sec’ on 1/2 sec’ off & water still in machine it indicates Rinse Hold.
If drain l.e.d flashes 1 sec’ on & 1 sec’ off it indicates drainage problem..
Led [i] indicates level sw’ fault
Led [ii] indicates heating/ ntc fault

If machine drains completely & gives the fault i’d look at pressure vessel blockage, depends if all water is gone or not?
If not, possible pump or blockage. Check if theres an obstruction anywhere in sump hose, filter or pump or drain hose.
