we have the above vacuum in the workshop. its not had much use and out of guarantee, but the customer has dropped it and now its no go. the only light that comes on is the “thermo” indicator. everything checks out ok, i can only assume its the pcb (which i cant seem to find as a spare).
any help much appreciated

if she has dropped it i would expect poss breaks in the pcb tracks as the components are very robust

with the thermo light on i would look for open circuits

you can buzz from plug to triac from both live and neutral with switch in on positon .
one way will be a dead short and the other will go through the motor
