Miele SCi645 Dishwasher

Hi Folks,

I sold this machine to my customer several months ago. She rang me to say it would not empty. Being a very good customer I went to look at it first before advising to call Miele. As I thought a plum stone had got into the non return valve in the cover of the drain pump impeller which you can remove when you take the filter from the base inside the cabinet.

She rang me tonight to say that the machine won`t go through a programme properly. It fills up but will not advance and seems to do out of the ordinary things?

Is there some kind of programme resetting on these? Any pointers would be helpful before I tell her to call Miele.

I think it memorizes the last programme used & will do it repeatedly unless customer selects new one, she may have messed about with settings inadvertently by trying to cure it herself when it didn’t empty, your best bet is to get Miele engineer out, to check it with his laptop & optical interface jobby, for free..
