Miele T220 dryer seal

How do i fit this seal 5860450? does the seal fit between the cabinet(stripdown) or just push in to a groove? Never repaired A Miele before.

Just pushes into a groove when front is off..

Yeah theres two hidden beneath plinth..
This should guide you:-

Open the door..
Remove screws from the interlock..
Remove screws around the door opening..
Remove the screw caps from plinth..
Remove plinth fixing screws..
Slide plinth slightly to left to unclip & remove it..
Remove 2 screws from bottom edge of front panel..
Now pull front panel out at the bottom & release it from under facia..

After all that the new seal just pushes in to a groove if you open the door 😆
Part no is superceded though.
