Hi Guys, this dryer runs for a couple of mins then starts beeping and the “machine iron” light flashes. There is no heat from the machine. Heater tests ok and reset stat has not tripped. Thermistor on heater unit reads about 182k/ohms, and the one at front of dryer reads 20k/ohms. Anyone know the correct readings for these thermistors?
If it’s not the thermistors where should I check next? I had a look at the small circuit board at the back top right of machine but no signs of damage, scorching or blown solder joints. Tried it on timed drying but no heat there either.

Its always that relay board at the back in my experience, it may look fine. If it has 3 rectangular relays on it then its the old style and will be the cause of no heat, the new version has 4 square relays and is far more reliable. I have replaced the relays on one of the old boards which I use for testing or temp use while the correct one is ordered but it was a bit of a trial due to the double sided soldering and I wont bother again. Don’t expect any change from £100 quids though. 😯

Hi Mark, it was indeed that small circuit board that had the fault.
    Thanks again
