MIELE T430 no motor action

Nice day huh? 😆

I have a Miele T430 in pieces in the workshop. I am getting no motor action – customer reported this before and having defluffed an extremely blocked up vent it worked okay.

Now when I switch on I can get the door lock to operate,light comes on when door is open off when closed etc.

the heater switches on ……..but….NO MOTOR ACTION capacitor or nmotor maybe?

HELP PLEASE ❓

I think I am gonna go for that……bit pricey but hey it’s only money 😆 I did check for dry joints and the relay that I think switches the motor seems fine.

I even took the cover off the relays and switched them with a small screwdriver & they were reading okay.

Guess I will have to bite the bullet and try the board I will post the result on here………Thanks for your input 🙂

Tap relays on board, they are prone to sticking. Also check for the normal things like bad connnections at edge connections to PCB.

Thanks for that seamy, I am certainly not sure about the board …..but I have looked for dry joints etc.

Am I right in thinking that REL 1 switches the motor?

AHA !!!!

The answer to that is NO it is REL2……I know that now ‘cos I just found that REL2 has an o/c coil and if I switch it manualy the motor runs….. 😆

is a relay available…………not sure yet!

Thanks Seamy…..found a great company that supplied a relay to do the job. (rapidonline.com)

just fitted relay to board and…….IT WORKS! …. YIPPEE
