Miele T490 tumble dryer

Inital problem heater stat had gone, I have replaced it.

Now the heater relay is not switching:
Shorted out contacts and heater works OK.

Getting about 4V DC to the relay coil ( 6V DC relay coil)
Connected the relay to PSU on bench and it switches on at about 3.5V DC
Therefore I can’t be getting enough current to energise the coil,this signal comes from the PCB.

Anyone had simillar problems any ideas which component on the PCB is faulty ??

Hi…I am a ex Miele eng…and now independent….its the PCB board…needs changing…about £80 + vat…Iv’e had a few of these now.

Fiddler, can you please check the dates of some of the posts you are replying to, some are way out of date and restarting them cause confusion.
