miele T490 tumble Dryer no heat

This one not heating. had heater out, it looks ok and toc is ok.
Tried it with damp cloth still no heat

The sensor brushes are making a real racket when drum turns.
Would the brushes stop the heater from coming on.

Any help please

its unlikely the senasor brushes are causing your problem. noise from brushes usually come from the frame catcing a screw as the drum turns
first check all ntc if you cant get enough damp material inside drum you can put a bit of damp cloth between the two brushes
lastly if all this fails check relays on pcb
