Miele T536 Tumble dryer

This machine turns but no heat.
How do you access the element as there is no way from the back.
Does the drum have to be taken out from the front.
Anyone had similar problems ——- please

If its the one im thinking of look inside the drum you will see the back panel with 7mm allen keys holding it in place you will have to undo them,you will also see in the centre of the backplate 2 larger holes then the others and you will have to get these at quater to 3 position there are 2,7mm allen keys (may need your torch to see them)behind there holding the bearings in place undo them as much as possible then the backplate should come away with a bit of “positive attitude”
Then there will be a plate with the rear felt attached to it held in place by 4,7mm screws take that off and you should see the connections for the element and it just slides up hope this makes sense and helps.

You were spot on. Got to heater thanks to you and found one of the stats burnt out. Heater el ok. Ordered both stats just in case.
