Well, not quite random, it’s when it’s really warmed up (doesn’t do it nearly as much on low heat setting) the solenoid gets energised and opens the door.
I wondered if steam was getting to the electronics, but apart from that I’m mystified with this one.
Anyone come across it before?

overheat stat tripping . check restrictions inner and outer ducts
