miele T7644c tumble dryer cuts out

2 years old very heavy usage, put it in cool 20 min programme or a 15 min warm air programme it works is blowing air gets hot , as much as i can clean it defluffed

but put it on any other programme like very dry 75 mins it cuts out in less than a minute

now the two sensing brushes that rub on the drum are worn away down to stubs, think that will do it????????

yes, they’re the sensing brushes, so if they don’t sense (damp clothes) they shut down the heating
