Miele T8961 WP tumble drier

Hi all. When the dryer runs for a few seconds error F50 beeps and flashes everytime. Is it the main control board?

sort of get the poss impression digging around that it may be a motor techo problem

if it starts to turn then faults out then check that

Thanks Dave for the reply. The drum doesn’t actually turn. You hear some fans starting up and about 10 seconds later the error comes up.

which could just indicate its a motor problem

Is the motor or drum jammed ?

does motor energise before it faults out ?

No. It doesn’t attempt to turn. All belts ok and turns freely by hand.
