Hi can anyone give me the part number for the Taco coil on a Miele W3830 Nr41/85716037 I’ve tried phoning and Emailing them but getting no response,it’s not a make I have much to do with so could well be a new motor.

    ring miele direct spares

they will give you a part number and price for the part

As an alternative there are lots of motors available on ebay for miele had had a few that way. look on the motor plate for the number (like MRT37 – 606/2) and search. I always email seller and ask are bearings quiet and ask if it clicks as it turns if no order and your backed by paypal. Got one faulty one and papal came down on my side

Not had a tacho fail, assume coil is open circuit. Have you looked carefully at it. most of the time they break at the ends and with a jeweller eye glass a quick scrape and solder and all is well

yes the coil is part of item 2 be prepared for a shock! there are digital versions so serial number is essential and no access to the windings for a repair afaik. but at least you can console the customer by telling them they get a free pair of brushes.
