miele tumble dryer

hi guys,
can any one point me in the right direction to removing the front panel of a T5206 dryer please.
i removed the 4 hex. screws from the front around the door opening but something is still holding it,any advise will be much appreciated.

Not sure of this model, but all miele TD’s I’ve come across have one or two screws top left behind removable panel. Sometimes a screw bottom left, but usually just a spring clip.

this is a commercial one, don’t know if that makes any difference?
does the front”open up” like a door, ie. hinged,like the washing machines used to?

Yes, they usually hinge on the right hand side like the washers

Remove the facia panel at front, insert a small screwdriver and push downwards. This will reveal screws behind. 💡

great stuff,
sorry, can you just clarify that please.
i take it you mean to remove the upper plastic consol panel you insert screwdriver in somewhere.
or do you mean to remove the machine metal front panel you insert a screwdriver.
sorry, but i haven’t done one before and i don’t want to damage it.

Remove 4 screws around door
Remove top LHS facia by prizing it down with small screwdriver to reveal 2 hidden screws, small panel removes revealing more screws, remove screws.
Loosen torx screw on RHS of this small panel and move screw down to release catch.
On botton LHS release spring catch to release front panel which should hinge open.
