Miele Vented Tumble Drier (T7734) Not getting hot

ive had this Drier for a good while now and it has just stopped heating up. Is this just a case of replacing the heating element or are there other things that can cause this? I’m a luddite so keep it simple…

OK. Any simple way of testing the bits individually as I’ve spoken to Miele and the whole thing is just under £200 but individually the thermostat and relay is about £40 each. Rather than buying the whole thing might be more cost effective if I can test individual bits….

first thing to check is the element and stats

for that you need to use a multimeter
