Miele W1714 Washing machine drum has dropped

I have this machine which is probably about 14 years old now. I overloaded it the other day and the drum now appears to have dropped (Can’t seem to attach a photo). The seal has wrinkled and the drum now sits about 3″ below centre. It still works without any leaks or unusual noises. Is this an easy economical repair for someone skilled (or unskilled (me)) if I order the required parts from Miele.

Miele have offered me a £269 warranty deal to repair this but in the small print it doesn’t cover drum problems… Which I assume this is..?

Any help would be appreciated on this please.

check the drum springs
if the whole drum unit has dropped its about the only thing it can be
