MIELE W308 WONT SPIN

We have just called out to a Miele W 308 washing machine for “not filling ” fault . We found that the level system was completely blocked up , which we cleared . when we tested machine , the fill problem was rectified , but we found that the machine would not go into spin , after distributing . We checked pump , all hoses , motor brushes etc . all O.K. Can any body help with this one please , or is it another case of manufacturer needed to reset !!!

Did you check the heater? It could have faulted due the it coming on with no water? The end of the pressure tube could be blocked?

Did you blow up the presure tube? Not advisable on the machines with the digital pressure sensor.

have you checked tach gen for voltage output?
you may also have a broken wire in loom…check
Does it show any fault code?

Thanks fiddler for the reply , no fault code is displayed and machine goes to end where anti crease finish light is illuminated . not checked tach gen yet

Thanks to all who posted on this . When bob called to this machine , the level system was badly blocked up . He cleared this and checked the heater which was o.k. He had a hunch that something may have tripped out and advised the customer to leave the machine and try again later .Two days after posting this the customer rang to say that she had left it overnight , and tried it the next day where it completed the cycle with a full spin . She has used it since without problems . 😆 😆
