Miele w3444wps flashing rinse button

Hi
I have a Miele w3444wps which ten yrs 4 months old just out of warranty. I have a problem with the rinse button flashing and the machine stopping have been able to spin the water out. Have cleaner the filter at bottom on machine and the soap tray at top
Any ideas for other things for me to check not sure if machine is worth repairing Miele want £120call out should I put towards new machine.. Thanks Annette

Hi rinse light flashing normally indicates no motor action!
if machine is 10 years old its more likely the motor carbons or brushes have gone?
