When the on button is pressed the machine bursts into spin for a couple of seconds then the rinse light flashes. It doesn’t matter if a wash is selected or not and the start button is not pressed.
Does anyone confirm if this is likely to be the PCB throwing the machine straight into spin.

I thought the rinse light only shows up a fault when the motor attempts to turn during the cycle. Why would it kick into a spin when first powered up? If the tacho was O/C would the motor run before a program is set?
