    Hello

Recently both the ‘check drain’ and ‘check inlet’ LEDs have together starting flashing red just before a wash completes, and the clothes are wetter than usual. The manual says a possible cause is the that the water protection system has reacted, and recommends calling the service department. The washer is at least 15 years old. I’m not sure what to do. Any advice?

    Thanks

    Update:

I have checked the drain, released about 2L of water, opened it fully, it is not blocked. Tilted the machine forward slightly, water slowly pours out from the bottom of the machine on to the floor. Not from the drain, but actually from the bottom of the machine. I am assuming this is not supposed to happen!

thats what the fault is all about
the machine has a leak somewhere internally and you have yo find out where

first port of call is always a hole in the door gasket
