Miele W5298WPS

Hi folks,

been to a Miele W5298WPS today which stopped mid wash with blank screen.
Power coming in but not powering up relay (relay seems OK). Bit limited in my knowledge of Miele electronics… any obvious tricks I’m missing?!

not sure which relay you are talking about but for any of these machines to work there has to be a low voltage power supply feeding the board. you need to find this and check it

Hi Dave, thanks for reply. There is a low voltage supply to the board, and a small red LED on the main board confirms that when you power up. There’s a large power relay after the mains filter, that the low voltage supply presumably feeds back into from the main board to power up a coil and switch mains voltage to the rest of the machine. I have no low voltage supply to that relay, although the mains power is feeding into it ready to be relayed! Hope that makes sense to someone… anyone 😥
