This washer screeches into a spin when starting and beeps technical fault. Checked motor and brushes, tacho magnet ok and all resistance readings are fine. It has an ELP165-S board fitted if anyone knows of any problems with these? Thanks Darrell

Any photos of motor triac so I know what it looks like? And how do you test the motor tacho and what resistance should it be? I am currently working on same set of scenario,

tacho should have resistance under about 20K some as low as 100 ohm. when you spin the motor with the meter on ac volts you should get an output of a few volts or so

the triac is mounted on the heatsink on the board. its a three legged device. you should get very little reading between the middle leg and the other 2
