Miele W5748 washing machine cuts out

Hello,
Can you help with this, A Miele W5748 washing machine cuts out during cycle with display out and no response or door opening, if left for a while it will sometimes come back on but cuts out again.
Any thoughts?

had a similar problem with another miele. machine would start and after a short time display would go blank and machine would stop. traced fault to a 5v regulator chip on the pcb

see simple pcb repair tips I documented it there
different board but similar fault
