    Button type thermostat required for this machine please.

    The only thermostat I can see is a variable one mounted on facia with phial and sensor is button type that fits into front plate of suds container
    Part No 3225604 £99.29 plus VAT :rolls:

    Had a similar old Miele where that stat went wrong. Turned out to be perfectly simple to take the back off the body of it, clean the contacts inside and reassemble, much to the customer’s delight. As long as it’s that and not a broken capillary.

    Thanks Clayside,Yes it is the one mounted on the facia but at that price customer may not proceed with repair.
    Mike,i will try that after all i may get a few brownie points.
