    Help

I have been to this Miele today which is an import from Germany and the main wash light ( customer translated details on facia for me) is flashing. Just to confirm this is the 3 light down. The fault codes in the trusted book of ours points me to a heater/ntc fault but found the following:-

    Heater reads 20 ohm
    Relay coil reads ok
    NTC reads about 18k
Voltage to 12v relay on switch on is 24v and drops to about 6v.
No voltage to heater during wash cycle

The fault code appears even when a programme is not selected and the machine switched on.

Question 1 – does this machine remember fault codes ie it detected it did not heat on a wash yesterday and will keep flashing this same code until it is reset? is there a reset procedure for this machine?

I feel that it may be the main pcb that is causing the problem or if the machine keeps flashing a fault code until reset that it could be the relay contacts.

Can any one help with some advice on this one

Open or short circuit in NTC or its connector…at 20 degrees it should read 14K approx, fault is F3 & is saved. Can be element, relay, control module or power module fault causing it either. There should be a circuit diagram with the machine to help you check the circuit.

    Hi Seamy

Thank you for coming back to me. Do you know how to reset the fault codes on this machine?
