Got a Miele W820 and i’ve never done a Miele b4. Works perfectly on every program except any cotton program. When on a cotton program It washes normally then starts the rinse proceedure but then goes straight to finish with no emptying or spinning. Is this likely to be the module?

Sounds as if its in “SLUICE” mode!

On some programmes (i think from memory) if the machine is set up this way it will just empty out the water without spining. This is a programme for people who are incontinent etc, normally found on machines in nursing homes , hospitals etc.

Programmes can be changed by the engineer.

Thanks, well it seems to have fixed itself? Ran it through several other programs then returned to the cotton programs and it now goes through the rinse/spin proceedure ok. will see how it goes.

Believe it or not the fault with this machine was on the triple inlet valve where one valve was sticking and on the cotton wash rinse cycle the machine was shutting down and emptying due to the fact it took too long to fill. Doh!
