ParticipantIve been out to this washing machine the rinse led is flashing and theres no motor action checked brushes and tacho magnet so looking at other threads on the forum think it must be a board fault someone suggested there was a fuse on the one board if there is it must be on the one in the plastic case right behind the control panel i couldnt get it off because of the control knob and didnt like to pull to hard has anyone else got any experience with these machine could do with some advice if poss please.

It’s a while since I last did one but I don’t remember having any problem getting the knob off; I think it was just get a grip with my gripper gloves and pull. Although, looking at this, I’m wondering if there isn’t a separate user interface board with knob which is (dis)connected via a ribbon cable to the board you want; in fact I think that is how it is.
Here’s an image I finally found on a usb stick, showing the fuse (round, orange/brown plastic, bottom right) and the relay (top left). Whatever you do, don’t call it job done until you’ve checked and, if necessary, replaced the suspas. Unless it was caused by a one off heavy / unbalanced load, they will be the cause and it isn’t really evident until you remove one.

Here’s the thread which you may have already found:

These machines swing open from the left to the right, and the board you need to take off is the one facing you, through which the black rubber pressure switch pipe goes through on the left hand side…
You need to replace the top left hand relay, and also the round cylindrical fuse….
I have done around 20 of these in the last few months and never had a problem..Martin

Hi Martin. Where are you based, if you don’t mind me asking?
Sounds like Kensington and Chelsea.
