Miele W828 error code

Am not happy at the moment. Great pressure is being applied from the better half to get her washing machine going again. We have tried reseting as per manual but no joy 😥 The machine commences its cycle by filling with water but thats as far as it goes. No drum movement then the rinse light flashes about thirty times a pause and then another round of flashing. the water is emptied out and that is it….
Any help would be appreciated 🙂

More than likely worn motor brushes
Or it could be motor connections wiring harness fault

But i would look at motor brushes First

Thanks for your input. I will check it out. I also called a local repair man to whom I gave the symptoms and his reply was that their was an electronic board gone caused by the dampers being worn out on the bowl support. Thus the suggested repair price (parts only) was approximately $100 AUD for the dampers and $350 for the board 😯 So I hope that you are right. Thanks again.
