Miele W840 pumps out & water in at the same time

Hi,
We have a W840 & it has an intermittent issue of water going in & pumping out at the same time.

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Does this only happen on a cottons wash 60 and above ?

I have just spoken to the customer with the machine & they are saying no it’s not Cottons wash 60 or above.

Hi Paul

Sounds like a problem with maybe pressure switch or the pressure vessel to me then..
Also check the vent pipe that runs from bottom of soap drawer. This is known to get blocked and cause random faults like this..
