Machine is dutch brought to UK. Europlug pushed into extension lead so not earthed 😯 . Fills/empties but spoelen/ringages light flashing. Motor brushes perfect length but flash mark on one brush. First time i have looked at one. Can anybody give me any pointers? Would Miele do the job cheaper on parts if they do it. Am thinking Motor/Module. Bang was heard when failed.

SimonLike your guess is motor problem… (spulen lights)
Sometimes (more then four times was happen) when inside motor something is going wrong (it going shorted to earth or just current leakage 😈 ) power module (motor module) is going out…. : fuse;protective diode and drive transistor. 😉
Even when you change or repair module you could damage him again, unless you change motor or cut out earth wire from motor plug. 😕
