    Machine will start any prog selected,then shortly after rinse light starts to flash.A few moments later prog end lights up,rinse still flashes?
    Seems like a control fault? Any clues??

    check the carbons.

    or tacho must recieve signal from tacho within a few seconds otherwise it will flash up rinses light
