    Hi all,
Got a call yesterday to go to tomorrow. Machine about 7 yrs old. Starts, a fill then dies with the rinses light flashing and the anti crease light on permanently. Checked the fault codes here but can’t see it anywhere.
Fault code list on this site are brilliant but there are so many these days would be great if we could get them in chronological order.
    Anyhow, ideas of the
    Miele would be appreciated.

Guessed it was brushes or so because of its age. Thanks, just wanted confirmation, it’s quite a way out of my patch but needs must.
Guessing again the carbons arn’t going to be a ‘one off’. Just a cartidge I imagine.

Most Miele motor end plates come off the motor, front comes off machine to get access.

I’ve done some by tipping them back & working from underneath.

The carbons are unique to Miele your not likely to get an other one that will fit, also the belt which must be replaced with a genuine one as they are electrically conductive believe it or not.

I’ve got one of these. Motor has been repaired, but it’s still doing the fault code. Does the fault need clearing from it’s little brain?

    :hmm:

    Sorted! For the next guy…

There’s a little fuse on the PCB near the triac. 6.3a and it looks like a little brown capacitor.
