Miele W916 inlet valve version

Hi. I have a 16 year old W916 with a ‘waterproof’ inlet hose – one with the grey box on the end. I need to replace the water inlet valve – triple solenoid valve. Are there different version ie. one for machines with ‘waterproof’ system and another for machines without. If yes; what do I need to specify to get the correct part? Thanks for any help.

the only difference in the valves are 2 of the coils are 110v

which water inlet valve do you need to replace?

if its the one in the grey case its very dear but if you get a normal inlet hose and connect it directly to the triple valve it will work . you will have to leave valve in the grey box connected electricaly or the machine wont work
