ParticipantWater will not feed into machine so i pulled apart and checked all pipes and found prob with inlet pipe disconnect from machine and tap to see if clear, the pipe wont allow water into the machine but will let it out if u blow though pipe but wont flow into machine only flow 1 way through the pipe and thats the wrong way? 🙁

It wont let water thought inlet pipe with power on or off i disconnected pipe and all u can do is blow water out of pipe but not through?it has a grey box at point where it screws on to tap!I dont no what this is maybe valve of some kind i dont no!Also i cant find anywhere to buy a new miele inlet pipe the same as i have?Any help would be good thanks

Hi has already said you need to test the inlet valve which is the grey box that you described but that box is a sealed unit so you will have to trace the wires into the machine if i remember correctly they are on a push fit type connector and do a contiuity test from there remember power off first!!! And make sure that your water supply is ok to machine. I got a nasty feeling those inlet valves are £100ish and only available from miele unless someone else nows where to get them cheaper!

You need a test meter to check for resistance. The component to be tested need to be separated from the circuit to avoid back-readings. An inlet valve will typically give a reading in kOhms.
Needless to say, mains power must be off at all times.
If you are unsure how to proceed, you must seek professional help.

I done test and metre read 10koms is this normal?
