I don’t normally touch Miele machines, due to the ridiculous cost of spares, but I’ve just fixed her Neff dishwasher and she asked me to look at it.

Fabric conditioner is not being taken.

    – Rinse hold is not selected,
    – Dispenser drawer is not blocked – it syphons out correctly, even uphill at a 15 degree angle,
    – Water valve seems to be working ok,
    – Three holes in dispenser housing roof were a bit gunged up,
    – But in putting water down the conditioner water inlet pipe to the dispenser housing, it just goes down the back (inside) of the dispenser housing, instead of going to the three holes at the front where it should come out into the conditioner compartment of the drawer.

❓ Is there a plug fallen out inside the dispenser housing that can be reinstated, or is it a complete new housing? (£96.38 ex vat from Maddocks, but out of stock at the mo)

❓ Or is there something else I’ve missed?

    Thanks in anticipation,
    Pigpen.

Sounds like a simple blockage, try poking a fine cable up through the holes from inside the drawer & try rinse, repeat a few times, maybe this will shift gunge.

    Thanks, Seamy.
I’ll give that a go before throwing loads of money in Miele’s direction.
    Cheers,
    Pigpen.

best way i have found is to connect cold valve hose to conditioner pipe and put it on a rinse
the full mains pressure clears it out a treat

    Brilliant, Petalpop.
I’ll be doing that for certain after I’ve given it a quick poke.
    Thanks,
    Pigpen.
