Miele warranty

Why have Miele stopped offering a 20 year warranty on some of their machines, the most you now get is 5 years? 🙁

dont think they ever offererd 20 years but have seen 10
but all warranties have limitations as to what reasonalbe wear and tear is etc. these days you can ask the machine how many washes its done to determine if the machine is overused according to their rules

all to do with marketing. they only offer it every now and then as a way of boosting sales and possibly lowering stock

They haven’t had a ten year warranty for quite some time.

As Dave rightly says it’s a marketing campaign which they run from time to time.
