Miele prestige washing machine which appears not to be rinsing out the clothes. When the program appears to have ended the clothes are left soapy and not spun proberly. Is there any any quick remedy to this problem.

Well unless something electrically/ mechanically weird has happened the only thing I can think of is the usual cure for the symptom as you`ve written your question and that is the pump filter is blocked with rubbish or failing this there is a blockage elsewhere such as the sump hose or the outlet hose or the under the sink nozzel should it be plumbed out that way. Or, abstractly thinking, too much soap powder, same again but with softened h2o- I take it you have not just had a softener just fitted in your pad as this would cause that problem rather than a blockage- just trying to cover some things that it could be no matter how far fetched, I`m here and your there so rather difficult . Let us know please.

Found two faults. 1- There was a blockage in hose pipe at “y” joint which pushes into soap dispenser hose. 2- When machine started to spin water was coming from the overflow pipe from soap drawer to top of drum and was starting to flood base. Everthing appears ok at present.
