    We have been to look at a Miele W5740 which has an F50 error. The motor fires straight into a spin when turned on. We have checked the tacho and wiring back to the pcb, which is all ok. Are we missing something or can it just be a board fault?

    have you checked the motor traic on the board ?

    I shall check with the engineer that went. Would that mean replacing the complete board anyway on this?

    no just replace the traic. should be less than a fiver, just needs soldering in
