Miele washing machine W3830 Fault codes

Hi,
I don’t usually touch Miele machines but I have an old customers who is begging me to take a look at her washing machine for her. She says it has gone through most of the wash and has got near the end but is left with wet clothes and a bit of water in. The display shows 3 dashes according to her and will now not programme. I’ve told her to disconnect it it to a minute and switch back on but it still won’t programme. She has emptied her filter and found nothing.

Does anybody have any idea?

Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve just been talking to them again and they say that there are three lights on the right hand side and the top two are lit as well. Water inlet and Drain.

No, I actually asked them to tip the machine back to see if anything comes out and they say not. I did think of the anti flood. They had it tipped back into the recess for 5 mins and then rang me and tried again. No joy…

tipping back is not the best solution for this problem….. best get the front off and take a look.

Yep, forgot to leave an update tonight. I went and took a look today and yes there was a small amount of water in the base. Amazed that it didn’t come out for the customer because the minute I tipped it, it came out.
Usual hole in the door seal and promptly ordered.
