Miele washing machine W844

[SWERV]

Hi,
I have had a customer contact me regarding her washing machine. The main wash light has started flashing, but the machine runs and completes thr cycle.
Any pointers as to what could cause that?.

owners manual is no help just says if it happens there is a fault call miele

for me i would be looking for things that dont stop programme so i would start with heater and its operation

another thing came top mind
coming out the top of the punp is a thin tube that goes to the top og the machine to a T piece. this tube can over time get blocked and its job is to take the air out of the pump so it drains quicker. if its blocked it will drain slower and may bring an error

check how fast it drains although it will need the tube more when there are bubbles
