    Hi,
Push button unit (5 button-type) blown solder tracks on terminal connection 19 (from door lock), terminal connection 18 also seems charred (from power electronic). Fitted replacement and it popped again, same place. Anyone come across this before? Can tracking be resoldered? Is door lock causing this?
    Thanks
    Conor!

    1. I haven’t 2. Probably, but could be fiddly. 3. Quite likely. Suggest remove it (the lock) dismantle and examine. Better remove and examine electronic as well, as that may be damaged. Sounds like it could end up seriously expensive. Definitely don’t buy more parts till you’re sure you’ve understood the problem.
    Mike.

Door lock faulty – replaced with recovered unit – also had a spare pushbutton unit – sorted.

sounds like door lock but i did catch wire to door lock once when doing up the 3 bolts around door seal. this blew track on board so i soldered wire straight to it and worked fine. if you havent changed lock i would do that first and inspect loom when you change it
