Miele WS5428 – Nr: 00/34660982 Motor Testing

Good afternoon all,

Wondering if anyone can advise on testing the above drive motor?

The washing machine will not agitate or spin, and I don’t know how to conclusively test this suspect induction motor.

Take the front off the appliance, then the endplate comes off the motor without taking out the motor, tacho coil, brushes can be inspected & changed if necessary. Normally brushes when changed cure the problem of no motor action, just remember to push them inwards as they seat in holder until motor endplate is put back onto motor.
