Hi everyone again! my engeneer has been a domestic appliance engineer for most of his working life, an ex zanussi man, but yesterday was the first time that he could not work out how to get into a machine. Machine is a miele WT2670 washer, customer was moving it and ripped the cable out from back of machine, needs re ending, but can get in !!!!! help!! 😕 Lisa

presume it is top he needs to remove.usually 2 screws at back and 1 each side towards front under covers.hinged at the back so lift from front.paul

front off and then side panels.
single bolt at 6 oclock under door, pull off kick strip (maybe retained by 2 screws under caps) undo the 2 outer screws under the front lip of front now exposed once kick strip is removed. Carefully push down front panel to remove ITs Heavey!
screws down the front of each side panel can now be seen, revmove lid (2 screws under caps on the side towards the front and 2 at rear), more side panel screws at rear and along top under the lid, and sides then fall off.would imagine that will have a moulded mains terminal affair though £££
