Miele WT945

Worth a post. Door seal for the above machine, Connect price retail £221:69 really unbelievable (not Connects fault), anyone with any other less expensive options?.

Long standing customer has two machines one a Bosch which I repaired today and the other the Miele, this is insured with D&G.

The Miele guy was out last week via D&G and prices the job at £315, D&G reply ” Not to repair” and will make customer an offer.

She has been paying around £100 per year to D&G.

So question is, what is the point of making a machine with perhaps a 10 year life span then writing it off after 6 years?, has me beat.

I had one of these only a couple of weeks ago , i phoned Miele and when i complained about the price he said “well it is a washer dryer” as if that made a blind bit of difference.

Part number dependent on s/ number but the price has recently come down and they are as of today £119.40 + vat direct from Miele , both types, early s/no and late.
