Mini-blender spindle repair

I have a Tefal Rondo Smart mini-blender. Typical of many similar machines this has a glass bowl with a small metal fitting on the bottom that the blades slot onto to hold them in place.

I think someone put this in the dishwasher when it should be washed by hand, because the spindle has come unstuck. So the simple question is what kind of glue can I use to stick the metal fitting back onto the glass bowl.

You could try an epoxy resin based glue. But units like this use heat fused components to bond metal to plastic and any synthetic adhesive wouldn’t be sufficient for a lasting fix. Indeed would act as a pollutant when dealing with mixing ingredients together, so altogether NOT a recommended solution!
